Overview:
Pavilion-6, a state-of-the-art intermediate surgical and medical surgical unit, is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Our surgical services include oncology, urology, bariatrics, and thoracic and colorectal surgery.
Our leadership team, comprised of a clinical director, assistant clinical director, clinical nurse managers, and a clinical educator, is dedicated to supporting our staff and prioritizing patient safety.
Pavilion-6 is supported by our unit secretaries, critical care technicians, and registered nurses, who work together to provide high-quality care. We strive to have all our nurses cross-trained in surgical intermediate care within the first year at Cooper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care utilizing the nursing process and therapeutic use of self.
- Supervise and coordinate care for a group of patients.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, supervisors, and physicians.
- Apply Cooper core values and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Certain specialties may require advanced certification.
