POSITION SUMMARY

Avante Group is seeking a dedicated Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our Maintenance Department. This full-time role involves ensuring that our facility is kept in a pristine and safe condition, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist the Director of Plant Operations in maintaining the facility's overall condition.
  2. Perform cleaning tasks including window washing, high area cleaning, and general maintenance duties as assigned.
  3. Follow established safety protocols, including Universal Precautions and infection control measures.
  4. Report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or hazardous situations promptly.
  5. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, ensuring they are free from hazards and properly organized.
  6. Utilize caution and safety signage as necessary during cleaning operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with all sanitation practices while performing housekeeping duties.
  8. Communicate any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and follow instructions is essential.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • A positive attitude towards working with the elderly population is essential.
