We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As an OR Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure the highest level of patient safety.
- Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- At least 1 year of experience required.
- Competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery.
