Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PT Community Porter to join our team at Centerspace. As a Community Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform janitorial and grounds keeping duties, including cleaning common areas, unit turns, and exterior spaces.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as apartment unit cleaning and snow removal.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and mops, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances to management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background in custodial or maintenance preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and tenants.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
