Job Title: PT Community Porter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PT Community Porter to join our team at Centerspace. As a Community Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform janitorial and grounds keeping duties, including cleaning common areas, unit turns, and exterior spaces.
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as apartment unit cleaning and snow removal.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and mops, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances to management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background in custodial or maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and tenants.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
