Job Summary:

Knox Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in a Critical Care setting. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring life-sustaining interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Monitor and report patient status to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • ACLS certification required for specific units and preferred in some units.
  • BLS certification required for all travelers except specific roles.
  • PALS certification required for specific units and preferred in ICU.
  • NRP certification required for specific units.
  • CHEMO certification not required for Oncology, OCN preferred.
  • TNCC certification preferred for ER.
  • Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain positions.

Work Environment:

This is a 12-week contract position with a local rate of $70. The schedule is MS Nights, with 12 weeks of continuous work.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proof of I9 or Attestation is required.
  • Government-issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
  • Proof of Everify or Attestation is needed.
  • Residency Declaration Form is needed if nurse is working on a compact license.
