Job Description:

  • Monitor and review supplier PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Coordinate interface with Midway plant and supplier personnel regarding supplier APQP activities and issues.
  • Identify and provide developmental assistance to Midway suppliers to improve their quality performance.
  • Develop and communicate annual supplier assessment schedules to ensure timely evaluations.
  • Conduct assessments of production material suppliers to evaluate their quality systems and performance.
  • Summarize, analyze, and report supplier quality system and ongoing performance information to management, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide information for MOS charts, analysis charts, and develop action plans for supplier performance to assist plants in resolving supplier issues.

Requirements:

  • A four-year college degree and ASQC Certification (CQE, CQA or CQM) preferred or four to six years experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years experience in a decision-making technical, professional or management position.
  • Excellent computer, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
