Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at Grand Casino. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, associates, and facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Grand Casino facilities, marketing events, and promotions to advise guests and fellow associates.
  • Provide necessary information for reports regarding security/medical-related incidents.
  • Ensure safe transportation of company assets.
  • Request identification from all persons who appear under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
  • Attend to the medical needs of guests and associates.
  • Communicate with all departments in the event of an emergency or immediate attention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • EMTs or EMRs must have successfully completed a nationally recognized course.
  • Successful completion of a state-recognized course for Emergency Medical Technicians.
  • Passed a state EMT registry examination.

  • Demonstrate positive guest service skills.
  • Role model the values and behaviors of the company.
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
