The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Informatica, ETL processes, and Informatica Cloud Services (ICS). This role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and testing software solutions while collaborating with both the development team and business stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and implementation of application solutions within an agile framework. A hands-on approach is essential, particularly in developing ETL packages utilizing Informatica PowerCenter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in the ETL design process for new or modified mappings and workflows, preparing comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Develop ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, and worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, along with corresponding documentation.
  • Design and construct integrations that support standard data warehousing structures, including type-2 dimensions, aggregations, and star schemas.
  • Conduct source system analysis as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Database Administrators and Data Architects to strategize and implement effective data partitioning in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Manage versioning of the ETL repository and associated code as required.
  • Load and transform data from various external sources into relational databases using Informatica.
  • Work with complex transformations such as XML, XML parsers, Java, and HTTP transformations, and design SCD type 2 workflows.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, Oracle 11g/12c SQL/PLSQL, and AutoSys.
  • Familiarity with version control tools.
  • Experience in ETL development.
  • Knowledge of Informatica Cloud Services (ICS).
  • Preferred experience with a major financial institution.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Oracle PL/SQL knowledge.
  • Understanding of Unix concepts.
  • Experience with SDM Adoption / Horizon onboarding tools such as Bit Bucket, Datical, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with agile best practices.
