Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12-hour shifts with every other weekend

Department Overview

Our Emergency Department is a premier Level 1 Trauma Unit, equipped with 37 beds dedicated to delivering urgent care to our patients. We feature an accredited Cath Lab, serve as a primary stroke center, and employ an advanced provider in triage to effectively minimize ER wait times. Our team is supported by a comprehensive ancillary staff, including unit clerks, surgical technicians, emergency services technicians, and 24-hour departmental supervisor coverage. We provide 12-hour shifts with a rotation every other weekend.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must possess a current state RN license and have an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program. Additional qualifications include:

  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS certification within one year
  • PALS certification within three years
  • Actively pursuing CEN certification within three years
  • Minimum of 6 months of acute care nursing experience or equivalent emergency medicine experience (CST, LPN, or Paramedic)
  • Trauma Nurse Course preferred
