Steelwork Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Industrial Specialist to join our team at Technique Inc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in industrial welding and be proficient in MIG and TIG techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Weld stainless and mild steel using MIG and TIG
• Read and apply basic weld symbols
• Perform 1st piece table layouts
• Understand CAD software (Solidworks)
• Understand GD&T and its impact on parts
• Read CMM reports and troubleshoot from CMM reports
• Demonstrate ability to meet customer expectations with stainless steel welding and AWS required specifications
• Influence and aid in the development of others to produce quality products
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Vocational training in STEM programs, career centers, or technical trades
• At least 1 year of welding experience in an industrial setting
• Basic understanding of GD&T, print reading, hand tools, layout/inspection tools

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience.
