Senior Financial Analyst

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial aspects of the site and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Evaluate and understand all commercial aspects of the site to improve planning and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain the site financial model, ensuring it forms the basis for all site commitments and guidance.
• Own the site financials and related disclosures, monthly close process, review procedures, and account reconciliations.
• Manage and maintain relationships with internal clients and joint venture partners.
• Implement corporate procedures and mandated programs.
• Manage the annual budget cycle and update monthly forecasts.
• Support the General Manager in managing joint venture requirements.
• Provide support for the site risk register and implementation of all risk policies.
• Maintain awareness and understanding of funding, sureties, and treasury processing.
• Coordinate and liaise with Corporate Finance Group for standard reporting requirements.
• Provide assistance or support to other corporate departments.

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Eight years' experience in the mining industry with a range of exposure to practical and technical areas.
• IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
• Working with numerical financial modeling.
• Modelling mining operations (mine and metal planning).
