About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 7p-7a on our Float Team, providing care to patients in both ICU and Acute Care units. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver individualized patient care.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication methods.
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to promote safe, quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of current direct patient care experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
