Per Diem Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Dartmouth Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
About the Role:This is a per-diem position that requires a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology, or be a new graduate with experience as an oncology RN.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and their families from diagnosis through end-of-life, including identification and treatment of acute and late effects of therapy.
- Perform procedures as required for patient assessment and work closely with the clinic nurses and provider staff to coordinate care for patients under treatment and manage acute therapy side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, faculty meetings, research, and quality improvement projects as applicable.
- Actively participate in the Advanced Practice Provider team of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center through attendance of monthly team meetings, journal club, biannual peer review process, and annual retreat as appropriate.
- Prepare for, participate in, and attend required conferences, meetings, and committees as requested.
- Participate in clinical research, relevant to the medical oncology patient population, providing clinical care and follow-up assessments as required by protocol.
- Participate in the education and professional development of fellows, residents, nurses, medical students, and other healthcare providers as appropriate.

Norris Cotton Cancer Center provides a full range of cancer care services, including a dedicated infusion suite, dedicated physicians, nurses, social work, nutrition counseling, palliative care, and other support staff, as well as ongoing support groups and classes for patients and families.
Qualifications:APRN Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
- Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
Physician Assistant Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification.
- Eligible for PA license in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont.
