Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients. This includes assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and standardized tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current, valid state SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current valid CPR certification.
