We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices, policies, and procedures to provide optimal patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
- BLS certification required; RN license in state of employment or compact.
- Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a Perinatal Setting.
- Current STABLE certification from one of the following courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor.
- Current NRP certification.
