About the JobWe are offering a competitive salary of up to $90,000 per year, plus a sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 and relocation assistance of up to $7,500. The schedule for this full-time position is 72 hours per 2 weeks, with a 0.9 FTE, and night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The department is Medicine I, and benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities- Perform nursing assessments to gather data and identify the patient's needs for this episode of care, adhering to ANA standards and NCBON.
- Develop and implement an individualized nursing care plan with the patient and family that addresses their identified needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health team members in coordinating the plan of care and facilitating patient outcomes.
- Ensure timely and efficient admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
- Demonstrate leadership by providing information as a resource nurse, mentor coach, and delegator of nursing care activities.
- Document assessments, delivery of care, and patient response to care in the medical record.
- Demonstrate accountability for ongoing learning needs and completion of annual education requirements and competencies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
- One-year of acute nursing experience required.
