Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Center Nurse Executive to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure compliance with Genesis policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective care delivery models and processes to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and responses to compliance-related issues and monitor the implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
