Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Provide high-quality instruction and guidance to students in the clinical setting, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field.
- Student Supervision: Supervise and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to help them improve.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of our dental hygiene curriculum, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Clinical Experience: Provide students with hands-on clinical experience, exposing them to a variety of dental procedures and scenarios.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to enhance student learning and program effectiveness.
- Education: Must possess a dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited program.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required, with a preference for 5 years or more.
- Certifications/Licenses: Must have a current DDS license in the state of Texas and comply with the state's dental and dental hygiene practice act.
This is an on-site position, requiring the incumbent to work in a clinical setting. The schedule will vary due to departmental commitments, and the incumbent must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
