Job Title: STEPS Dental Hygienist

Job Summary:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide periodontal therapies, including scaling and root planning, and placement of subgingival antimicrobials. You will also provide periodontal maintenance, take radiographs, and administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia. Additionally, you will provide periodontal, hard, and soft tissue assessments, oral hygiene instruction, and chart documentation. You will manage patient recall systems and provide attention to detail, customer service, communication, good judgment, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and dependability.

Responsibilities:
• Provide periodontal therapies and maintenance
• Take radiographs and administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
• Provide periodontal, hard, and soft tissue assessments
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and chart documentation
• Manage patient recall systems

Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Licensed Dental Hygienist – KY Registered Dental Hygienist
• Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time
• Shift: Monday-Friday, Day shift
