We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Tremont. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food products to our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and guests.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and labor, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
- Collaborate with the marketing and activities teams to plan and execute special events and theme meals.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a hospitality or senior living setting.
- Current ServSafe Certification.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
