Job Description

The Renewable Energy Plant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Landfill Gas to Energy Facility. This includes maximizing production, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and managing relationships with power/gas purchasers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to secure services and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with power/gas purchasers to ensure timely delivery of energy products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing internal combustion engines and cooling systems.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer data entry and interpretation.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% with overnight stays.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of building maintenance.
Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability coverage.
