Lamination Technician

We are seeking a skilled Lamination Assistant to join our team at Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, Texas.

The Lamination Assistant will be responsible for setting up and running production on a solvent-less laminating machine, performing quality checks, and ensuring customer specifications are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Set up and activate the laminator, ensuring job and material are in order.
• Perform quality checks and make corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
• Meet or exceed prescribed job standards for line speeds, scrap, and set up times.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and report necessary maintenance to the engineering department.
• Work cooperatively with the Quality Assurance department to ensure high-quality products.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and experience with web-based software and ERP systems required.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate basic tools and measuring devices required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
• Operating experience in a manufacturing environment and 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
