Job Title: Omaha Class A Delivery Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Inspect the tractor, trailer, and freight to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Complete all required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible fashion.
  • Perform damage control checks on items and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required.
  • Ensure that the tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
