Job Title: Charge Nurse Trauma Step Down

At HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse Trauma Step Down to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our trauma step-down unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate the activities of the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure timely and smooth transitions for patients.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care services and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement and operationalize current nursing strategies.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor needs to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a trauma step-down unit or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
