Job Summary:

The Constellation Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance data architectures to support business intelligence solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating effective data models, managing data flow across various platforms, and ensuring seamless integration of data sources into BI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture Design:
Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data architectures for Business Intelligence solutions that meet business needs.

Data Modeling:
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and optimal performance.

Data Warehousing:
Architect and manage data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring seamless data flow, transformation, and aggregation from various sources.

ETL Development:
Design, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration from multiple sources.

Data Governance:
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are maintained, including managing data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

Performance Tuning:
Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring queries and reports run efficiently and scale with business growth.

Collaboration:

Work closely with stakeholders, including data engineers, BI analysts, business users, and IT teams, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


BI Tools Integration:

Integrate data architectures with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or others, enabling insightful data visualization and reporting.


Cloud Technologies:
Leverage cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.

Data Security:
Ensure that data architectures meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
6+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or BI roles.
Experience using T-SQL scripts (stored procedures, views, functions, etc.) to manipulate data and simplify access to data.
Experience with Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain Management.
Experience with Python or R programming languages.
Experience with Azure Machine Learning
