Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembly Technician to join our team at Accurus Aerospace Corporation. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and installation of aircraft components and subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install aircraft components and subassemblies using various materials and techniques.
  • Use precision tools and equipment, such as air gauges, micrometers, and calipers, to ensure accurate measurements and assembly.
  • Apply sealants, compounds, fasteners, and primers to ensure a secure and durable assembly.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that assemblies meet specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly-related issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aerospace engineering or manufacturing technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Airframe and power plant (A&P) license/certification or equivalent.
  • Aircraft mechanic certifications or equivalent.
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and manufacturing control plans.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and statistical process control.
