Job Summary:

At Health First, we are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients thoroughly and document evaluations according to applicable guidelines and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to progress patients towards their goals.
  • Provide patients, families, and staff with education regarding therapy services related to patients' needs.
  • Ensure compliance with precautions and document all current precautions and changes in status.
  • Attend department meetings and participate in inservices to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Respond to therapy referrals and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Review daily assignments and schedules with the team to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
