Travel Nurse - Step Down Unit Opportunity

TotalMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Step Down Unit. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Step Down Unit or similar setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
