Chief Surveyor

We're looking for a skilled Survey Party Chief to join our team and manage all field aspects of projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail. • Oversee the work of the survey crew and ensure tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
• Evaluate the standard of work performed and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Coordinate with engineering personnel, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

• 8+ years of relevant experience in surveying, with at least 1 year of leading a survey crew.
• Experience working on DOT projects.
• Familiarity with post-processing and downloading survey data from data collectors.
• Strong leadership skills, work ethic, and team-player attitude.
• Strong technical, documentation, and organizational skills.
• No fear of extreme heights.

We offer a competitive salary range of $61,200 - $91,800 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
