Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Shift Supervisor to lead our customer service team during the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, executing established safety and security policies, and providing direction and coaching to associates during the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered through prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries.

• Implement and train our Mission and Brand standards to promote a positive customer experience.

• Execute established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and standards to maintain a safe working environment.

• Provide direction, motivation, and coaching to associates during the shift to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

• Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of associates to promote a positive work environment.

• Enforce cash handling and accountability processes and perform manager functions on the register to maintain a secure working environment.

• Administer check-in of external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Exhibit a working knowledge of store equipment and ensure facility and store conditions meet established standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Complete all required cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills to deliver a positive customer experience.

• Ability to work with little or no supervision to make decisions and prioritize tasks.

• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

• Ability to defuse issues using de-escalation and problem-solving techniques to resolve customer complaints.

• Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions and take initiative to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

• Excellent relationship-building and leadership skills to motivate and coach associates to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

• Food Safety Certified to maintain a safe working environment.

• Ability to perform physical behaviors such as standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping firmly to perform job duties.

• Ability to learn and utilize store technology to manage tasks and responsibilities.

• Must have reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance and performance.

• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role.

• Ability to direct others and prioritize tasks to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent to demonstrate basic education requirements.

• Ability to work 35-40 hours per week to meet sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work primarily third shift with occasional second shift, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

• Experience leading, developing, and selecting teams to demonstrate leadership skills.

• Experience effectively implementing change and demonstrating results in execution to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment preferred to demonstrate leadership skills.

• Experienced in all areas of store operations, including food service, to demonstrate knowledge and skills.

• Proven and consistently demonstrated skills in exceptional customer service, relationship building, and effective communication to deliver a positive customer experience.
