About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Portland, Maine. As a healthcare traveler with Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology, you will have the opportunity to explore new cities, take on challenging assignments, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screens patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
  • Explains procedures to patients and addresses their questions and concerns.
  • Maintains equipment, examines machines for proper functioning, and sterilizes the procedure room.
  • Starts I.V.s, administers contrast media per orders and protocol.
  • Maintains patient records and adds medical notes related to procedures.
  • Follows hospital safety rules and procedures.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
