Join Our Team as a Dog Trainer at Petco

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team at Petco. As a Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dog training instruction and customer service to our pet parents and their canine companions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality dog training classes and workshops
  • Provide personalized training solutions for pet parents and their dogs
  • Develop and maintain a positive and safe training environment
  • Collaborate with store partners and management to achieve sales goals and promote Petco's Positive Dog Training Program
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dog training techniques and methodologies
Requirements:
  • Must be able to complete Petco's Dog Training Instructor Program course and associated onboarding
  • Confidently perform all tasks and duties as outlined in Petco's Dog Training Instructor Program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Passion for animal behavior and training
