We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grill items to order, ensuring that every dish meets our strict standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu, adhering to Parkhurst standards and procedures.
- Set up, break down, and clean the grill station, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Prepare the service line for operation as instructed by the Executive Chef and/or Management, ensuring that the line is garnished properly at all times.
- Check the quality of food items, ensuring they meet standards of taste, appearance, and correct temperature, and report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Management.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, using Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives.
- Post all necessary signage and merchandise the service area.
- Follow production sheets to establish proper serving utensils and food quantities.
- Complete production sheets in accordance with Parkhurst standards.
- Follow the cleaning schedule as provided by management, using clean as you go techniques.
- Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
- Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
- Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards.
- Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
