About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to work in our Franklin, TN location on a night shift basis.

This position is IPAR and will rotate on a 7 on/7 off schedule. As a Night-Shift Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy by dispensing medications and pharmacy supplies in accordance with local, state, and federal mandates.

Job Summary:

A pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy, including reviewing and approving medication orders, supervising daily pharmacy operations, and maintaining QS1 drug records.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Enter and verify medication through accurate interpretation of physician orders, using systems like QS1, DocuTrack, Delivery Track, MatrixCare, and Parata.
  • Supervise daily pharmacy operations, resolving day-to-day problems using defined processes and ensuring a high level of service to customers.
  • Maintain QS1 drug records accurately and up-to-date.
  • Comply with state and federal pharmacy law at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with technician responsibilities if necessary, showcasing flexibility and teamwork.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with management, partners, and customers, fostering a positive working environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, using initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with center and pharmacy staff to achieve common goals.
  • Handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload/workflow, remaining composed under pressure.
  • Set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to meet deadlines and customer needs.
  • Exercise sound professional judgment, making informed decisions that benefit the organization and its customers.
  • Exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information, upholding the trust placed in the pharmacist.
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of all pharmacy policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Familiarity with systems like QS1, DocuTrack, Delivery Track, MatrixCare, and Parata.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree required.
  • Holding a valid state license for Pharmacists in good standing is essential.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in retail, hospital, and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
