About the Role:

As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes. You will work closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that help our clients achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their families, ensuring that they feel valued and supported throughout their care journey.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in home health care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of North Carolina.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
