EMT or Paramedic

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Occupational Health Technician in our occupational health clinic in Faribault, MN. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, and we are looking for someone who is available to pick up occasional shifts.

The Occupational Health Technician will work collaboratively with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure. The day-to-day role will include patient care, ongoing workers' compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor's client and employees
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
• Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
• Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
• Case Management
• Medical charting
• OSHA record-keeping

• EMT, Paramedic, or LPN license for the position in which you are applying
• Current CPR/BLS
• Strong computer and other technology skills, as well as familiarity with EMR software
• Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Willingness to go above and beyond
• Passion for people and giving them the best care humanly possible

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
• Relevant occupational health experience
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
