Laboratory Specimen Coordinator

At BioTouch, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specimen Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of lab specimen processing.
Responsibilities:- Specimen Receipt and Organization: Receive, sort, and organize laboratory specimens in a timely and efficient manner.
- Specimen Verification: Confirm specimen counts to ensure accuracy, using client dispatching systems when applicable.
- Software Integration: Verify specimen counts in CXT software to ensure accurate tracking.
- Driver Support: Ensure drivers use manifests and bags correctly for each client.
- Specimen Sorting: Sort specimens into designated bins for each laboratory.
- Verification of Delivery: Confirm that drivers are delivering sorted specimens to the correct laboratories promptly.
- Education: High school diploma or some college education is required.
- Critical Skills: Basic math knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and email exchange.
- Teamwork and Safety: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and safely lift heavy packages.
We offer an estimated annual salary of $55,000 for this position, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
