Pediatric Neonatologist

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a board-certified pediatric neonatologist to provide expert care and consulting services in neonatal medicine. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of NICU experience after fellowship training, though recent fellowship graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:- Coverage of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing comprehensive care.
- Fosters an environment that supports performance improvement activities within the patient care settings and provides appropriate reports as requested.
- Maintains and enhances the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies working collaboratively with the entire care team.
- Will provide education to physicians, nurses, and other ancillary medical personnel.
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
- Unrestricted California license as Physician.
- Ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.
- Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
- Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
- Evidence of exceptional clinical, and professional accomplishment.
- Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
