About the Role:
Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgical and anesthetic options
- Perform thorough anesthetic focused assessment
- Determine safest patient focused plan for anesthesia, analgesia, multi-modal pain management, post-operative recovery and discharge to home
- Ensure patient understanding and obtain anesthetic specific informed consent
- Order and administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthetic medications, including appropriate antiemetics, hemodynamic agents and controlled substances
- Initiate anesthesia by securing the airway (if appropriate), maintain appropriate anesthetic depth, and conduct a controlled emergence and extubation (if appropriate) for given anesthetic
- Complete post-operative assessment
- Participate and conduct anesthesia-related educational programs
Qualifications:
- Graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia training program completing requirements for MSN or DNP
- Current certification/recertification as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Valid Pennsylvania RN License
- Current BLS/ACLS/PALS
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum of one-year previous experience (exceptional new graduates will be considered)
