We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Team Member to join our team at American Foods Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of specialized tasks in a warm, hot, humid, or wet environment, including the use of tools such as knives, hooks, or other specialized equipment.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety and housekeeping processes and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Comply with all food safety policies and regulations, including those related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Perform physical tasks that require upper body strength and constant repetitive movements, including standing on hard surfaces for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures and environments, including warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces at varied heights.
  • Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work extended scheduled hours, including overtime, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
  • Must be able to successfully complete training programs, including Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and Food Defense.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
  • Prior production experience.
  • Work history in the last 12 months.
