Role ResponsibilitiesThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN will provide pre-operative and post-operative care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.
Unit OverviewThe Stroke/Brain unit is dedicated to offering advanced care for stroke patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. Recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, we treat a significant number of stroke patients annually.
Key Duties- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any changes.
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant medications, procedures, and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse diploma or equivalent.
