Job Summary

As a Material Handler at MillenniumSoft, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by moving materials, parts, and finished products efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize various equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials within the warehouse.

Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials moved.

Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area or process.

Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.

Work under general to limited supervision.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.

Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.

Effective communication skills at a level coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers. The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs. The position will have exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration. Occasionally the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles. It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating). The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
