The School of Forest Resources at Maine's Public Universities is looking to appoint a fixed-term lecturer in forest sciences. This role will focus on delivering educational programs in forest and environmental sciences, covering essential topics such as soil science, silviculture, and forest management. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with professionals and researchers in the field of forest resources and related disciplines.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ph.D. in forest soils, silviculture, forest management, or a closely related discipline, with completion expected prior to employment.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching or strong potential for teaching excellence.
- Proven ability or potential for collaborative research, including securing external funding and publishing in reputable journals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic community.
- At least one degree in forestry.
- Familiarity with land-grant university systems is advantageous.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
