Position Overview
As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will oversee, guide, and synchronize the efforts of your team to optimize performance, reduce expenses, uphold quality, and promote safety and operational standards.
Your responsibilities will include mentoring, training, and developing your team members while managing daily maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance, and repair operations.
You will also drive your team towards achieving continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the installation and upkeep of equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance projects.
- Ensure all maintenance department personnel are well-versed in safety protocols and Total Quality Maintenance.
- Provide leadership and coaching, manage employee schedules, and facilitate evaluations and development for team members.
- Work with management to establish and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Propose strategies for the effective operation of the maintenance department, including project implementation and budget adjustments.
Maintain various facility subsystems, including Waste Treatment, Boilers, Electrical Substations/High Voltage Power, and Utility Systems such as Plant Water Supply, Air Compressors, Ammonia Refrigeration, Glycol Operating Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, and HVAC.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military, or related environment.
The estimated salary range for this role is $72,000 to $101,000. Please note that this range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting, and final compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
