Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Maternal Newborn department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support excellence in clinical practice
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments to create positive patient outcomes
  • Recruit and retain competent and compassionate staff
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
  • Monitor and evaluate the documentation of nursing practice and patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure safe and effective care
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability required; management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, team building, priority setting, customer service, problem solving, and time management
  • BSN required, Master's degree preferred
  • CPR training required
