Job Summary

COIT Cleaning & Restoration Services is seeking a highly skilled Water Mitigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality restoration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform restoration services at assigned customer locations, maintaining a high standard of customer service and completing daily paperwork.
  • Be a good ambassador for COIT Cleaning & Restoration Services, providing prompt and professional service to all customers.
  • Demonstrate professional knowledge of all company products and services, determining customer requirements and communicating them with supervisors.
  • Using appropriate cleaning products and wearing appropriate safety equipment, provide professional cleaning services in customer's homes using company-provided equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the contents of the safety bucket, and provide customers with necessary safety information or instructions concerning the areas just cleaned.
  • Handle customer complaints and challenging situations in a professional manner, resolving customer complaints in a manner mutually satisfactory to both customer and company.
  • Operate company vehicles with good judgment, obeying all laws and rules of the road, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles in accordance with all policies and procedures, and accurately complete all water technician paperwork (written and electronic) and have all supporting documents in order.
  • Satisfactorily complete daily check-out and check-in procedures in a timely manner, and maintain IICRC certification in WRT/ASD.
Requirements
  • Ability to recognize and rectify problems, and possess a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier, and ability to lift equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry equipment weighing 50 pounds, as needed, and industry experience helpful.
  • Basic mathematics skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

This position is physically demanding, requiring extensive walking, standing, stooping, and bending. Traveling to each job location requires the safe operation of a company vehicle, and the equipment must be unloaded from the vehicle and carried to the worksite.
