Electrical Repair Technician Job Description

This role involves working under the supervision of a technical team leader to diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and facility equipment. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently to identify and resolve electrical problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment
  • Installation and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Collaboration with technical team members to resolve electrical issues
  • Ability to work independently to diagnose and repair electrical problems
  • Strong math skills and knowledge of electrical principles, including ohms law, transformers, and variable frequency drives
Requirements:
  • PLC proficiency
  • Experience reading technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to follow electrical code manuals
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
