CSL Plasma is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plasma Processing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of plasma collected from donors.

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Verify the accuracy of unit labeling by matching the pre-printed label with the dynamic label.
• Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and use heat sealers to maintain sterility and quality of plasma unit samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation, and ensure samples and units are packed and shipped in accordance with SOPs and center procedures.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures, and immediately inform appropriate personnel if equipment is not functioning properly.
• Conduct daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system, and maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
