Job Summary

The Breast Ultrasound Technologist is a key member of our team, responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong foundation in ultrasound technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images of the breast
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Utilize electronic systems to capture and store images, maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine the best course of treatment for patients
  • Ensure the proper sterilization of ultrasound equipment to maintain a safe environment of care
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an outpatient or Breast Center setting
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card (BCLS)
  • Graduate Certificate from Ultrasound Program preferred
