Automotive Refinisher

At Wallenius Wilhelmsen, we're looking for a skilled Polisher to join our team. As a Polisher, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles are delivered in pristine condition.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify any damage or imperfections.
• Complete internal and customer forms accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
• Report any quality issues to management in a timely and accurate manner.
• Inspect and polish vehicle exteriors using rotary and DARO polishers, removing marring and holograms from the paint.
• Repair heavy scratches using compound and ensure a flawless finish.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement to management.
• Perform other assignments as directed by management.

• Strong understanding of paint finish and detailing processes.
• Ability to carry out specific work procedures and directions.
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and hold items up to 50lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
